Well I know morale has been low because of the recent H1N1 thing.

This post may seem a little late, but still, Well done RGTT. We have successfully made it to the finals!

YOU GUYS WERE AWESOME DURING THE SEMIS MATCH. INCREDIBLE. I AM GLAD THAT I DID NOT "WASTE" MY BREATH SHOUTING CONFIDENCE & FOCUS FOR COUNTLESS TIMES(:

WE HAVE BEEN MAINTAINING WELL, SO LET'S KEEP IT THAT WAY YEA?

Alright so the main gist of this post, is really to get you guys PREPARED FOR THE TOUGH FIGHT AHEAD. I am sure all of you have heard tons of greetings/congratulations etc. But now, I certainly hope that you guys can forget the victories that we emerged, and start everything from scratch once more. Just like how RGTT always become stronger when we lose a match, the same rule applies for our opponents too. They will become stronger. They will be spurred on, they will be even more motivated then ever. But that's them.

As a team, as an individual, we are unable to control how our opponents feel. But we can do so for ourselves. We have to put down all the glory and praises that we received, and strive once more through hard work and determination. Just recall how did you guys, maybe for Cdiv, manage to get into finals? Was it a smooth journey? I guess you can answer this yourself. There's certainly some price to pay in order to get this far.

This post is definitely not posted to give you guys a scare, to make you guys afraid. No. Instead, this post is to remind all of you that it hasn't been easy for us to come this far. Really. All the odds that were against us etc. Therefore, I am sure the last thing you and I would want to witness, is that we fall due to complacency or lack of preparation.

I shall stop here.

On top of that, I will like to thank EVERYBODY in RGTT for contributing in one way or another during this really arduous period of the year. Thanks for being there for each other. It's really heartwarming to see you guys expressing your concern for one another. Keep it up people(:

I'm posting because Ying Na forced me to do so. :(
Okay MArch Camp was fun.
First as Elaine already posted, We had energisers- Writing the story.
HAha. That was DAMN FUN. our group wrote about HAM and the TORTOISE, which turned out to be the most ridiculous rubbish. Something about HAM dying and reviving and then wanting to be a SPORTS journalist but instead became some umbrella popiah potato tomato batman rainbow thingy.
Then i forgot what happened. I think we went for lunch.
OH wait, before that we had obstacle course then me and yihui were blindfolded and STUPID HAM kept saying "Fruit" the indication for going forward. _._ She's so retarded. Then she made Me and yi hui bang the wall. And my head banged so hard it hurt thanks to her. Got Internal bleeding. :( then the other team got blocked by us cos we had to stop for 25 seconds because we stepped on something. haha. That was the best part.
THen lunch. Ying NA took pictures with all the Bras and sicko stuff- As always-. Haha. Lin didn't finish her food and she kept drinking my TEH! Erhmmps. Then end up we took pictures of the gross food!
Then training i guess?
Then bathing the light kept switching off and they keep making me switch on the light for them.
Ying Na and HAm took SUUUUUUPPPERRR LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG to bathe. Seriously can't stand them. THe ultimate slow pokes.
THen after bathing we had night walk.
Yi Xuan- " THanks for the noise" " superman song (her horrible singing)" "thanks for sound effects" "thanks for ...... " THen next she goes " What do i do to win? y'all never tell me where is the end how i know how to win?" OMG She kept saying that. That was damn funny!
Evonne- " Is my hair messy?" Do i look ugly" Lol. so cute.
Liao Fang and Yuquan- lol. They were really scared. Alot of funny things.
OKay then after that was the really funny movie.
Then we went to sleep. NOt Me. Haha. Me hanzhen yi hui ying na were playing cards. And yingna couldn't see. and she kept running around the ks chee like a psycho. and then in the middle of the game she stood up, did a pirouette and sat down. She is so psychotic! or more suitable term- retarded.
THen she went to sleep at 1.58 am. THen the three of us went to watch the situation thingy the OSL people had. HAha. Kinda like suan-ing them. Then when we were talking to ham she fell asleep. o.O And then at 3.30 Am yihui lin and i went down to buy drink, wanting to wake up at 5. end up we woke at 7.
Haha. So then we had exercises which was retarded. :S
Then school tour?! kinda long. i Loved the charades! That was most fun. Or the only fun thing cos the rest was kinda screwed. THen we played lotsa games. then end up ying na and lin did a pole dance and ying na's one was really toot. she can't dance like bimbo.

march camp was fun! haha. really fun! (:

as expected, only half the team turned up. and some here and there. coz now got safra/stta comps. can see some ppl trying to turn up luh, but some others they can make it but nvr come. so its kind of sad n disappointing.

still, it was really fun!!!! i a bit lazy and tired to post a long one.

okay. so we started of with energisers. vry energising i must say. is like to create a random story, everyone write three words in ten seconds. den total got like ten minutes or sth. the stories are quite lame and funny. lol. den we had some directions walk. like blindfolded den someone direct and avoid obstacles. so i was like directing, den end up in the toilet. so smelly luh. den some obstacles were like sanitary bins. -.- disgusting!

after that they prepared for operation make us smile. chloe and i are the judges, coz we ic for the activity. one group is like so organised on butcher sheets. the other group just discuss and nvr write anything. lol!

went out for lunch. lilin took rdm pictures. like yingna posed with a poster of a woman advertising for a b--. maybe will be on rgtt blog or facebook. we were like LOLing literally.

after that came back and had appraisals. i wrote a lot still lor. but much faster than the last appraisals, probably coz its like writing on the table now and not on the floor.

had training. boring again. but my form was not bad! played with yingna, my forehand a bit screwed but won. lilin also, but didnt play vry well. the best was those with hcjc. loh and i played doubles with them and won 3-1! sad that cant win 3-0 coz we could have, thanks to me lor. boo.

after training went with evonne to bathe. the shower is like above the toilet bowl. so we have to be careful if not drop inside. o.O and i was like just starting to bathe, with the water running, den the lights off! omg. coz our sch the toilet is like autosensor. so off after ten minutes. luckily evonne havent on the tap. so she wore her clothes back and went to wave at the sensor. LOL. after that she went in and was hoping i will come out before the lights off. but i bathe so slow. so end up the lights off while i was wearing my clothes. we were screaming luh. den after 2min yihui and hanzhen they all came to like see see who bathing, coz that toilet is rgtt using what. so they on the light for us. xD so happy!

okay.i am tired.

so we had nightwalk. quite last min. yixuan not scared at all, but she was singing the lan qiu huo superman song to herself. "yo, wo shi superman...." hahha. funny! we were all controlling our laughter. den evonne nothing much. haha. nxt is like yuquan and liao fang together, coz they were crying after we scare them before the walk. den they get scared vry easily. so didnt dare to do much. got some parts quite funny but forget it. too many le. just that they were holding each other's shirts. so i came between them den they were pulling my shirt and shaking me on both sides. lol.

watched a movie called unaccompanied minors. so nice luh! and the ppl ended up as teenage couples. lol. den went to sleep only at like 1230.

couldnt sleep and woke up like twice thanks to the noise made by those who went to sleep at 4. ahemm.

today woke up at 7. had morn pt. fun kind. then mr ng made us compete but lucky in the end no one need do forfeit. is like doing jumps. lol. after that we had station games. my station is qutie boring. coz the group split into two. one half see a picture and verbally say how to draw to the other half. the group only had 3 ppl. lol.

den went to far east to lunch. some ppl fell sick. oh no. ><>

went back and played dare. like just dare and no truth. haha. den is like we pass one object around. whoever holds it when the music stops has to do a forfeit. really funny mans! like u have ppl skipping around, dancing, being seductive etc. i got indirectly sabo-ed by liao fang at the last round when i came back to the toilet. but just nice they wan change game so phew.

played charades and not successful. played taiti. was fun.

training with junze again today. 5th time in two weeks. tired. den slacked a lot, like one hour after that. talk talk talk. xD

For those who know me well, I have been and still AM fangirling over Brad Pitt. :D So, here's a really good quote (or two) from "The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons"

Really heartwarming to see what Lin had posted previously, i really urge everyone to take some time reading it. (: Its not a easy period, i know. But come on, what is RGTT made up of yeahh? You know, I know, EVERYONE knows, that we CAN make it though our fighting battle. Thus, at this very timing, march camp is a crucial and important event that serves many purposes: To integrate our sec ones into the team, build team spirit within the team, prepare for Nationals etc. And i really hope the attendance for March camp turns out well. (: Ying Na and Nat especially have been editing our proposal several times in order to plan great activities ahead and get things organised. Really great job there. and of course, with other organising comm. (:

As for tuesday's team outing, though its not compulsory, but i'd really appreciate if you can spare your afternoon before heading to training together. Please remember to inform me if you are going alrights (:

Gahhs i think i am getting emo but anyway. (: Just wanna praise each and everyone of yall for being more effecient in clearing up tables these trainings. keep it up. (: (Please remember your $2.40 when you see me xD haha)

COMPULSORY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND

Just felt like coming over here to talk about something serious which has came to my attention lately.

Y'all know it's the nationals season now, and that everyone is training pretty hard for it. Everyone is getting pretty stressed too, even I got affected by the mood. >.< Therefore, team spirit is is very very important now.

I've seen many batches passed and it took us a great deal of effort just to get the team this bonded now, and it will really hurt us, the sec4s, if the team disintegrates and alienates a few people here and there, and forming into your own cliques again.

Just FYI, a few batches ago, something similar happened, and it turned out rather nastily, something which my batch will definitely know of, yet choose not to remember. I'm sure we won't want to see that happening again, especially not now, during such a crucial season. I wish that y'all can sort out your misunderstandings and try to make peace and stay bonded. I really hope what I fear won't come true.

Dearest sec1s, y'all are new to the team, and majority of you are in the same class together. We can also see your efforts made to try and bond with us, which is rather heartwarming. I wish that you will heed your seniors advice, yet not be affected by some seniors biasedness. Talk to the upper secs if you really feel uncomfortable or don't know where to turn to.

Sec2s, Y'all will definitely know when I mean business and when I'm joking. I hope that the batch that was once so bonded will stay bonded. Batch talks, whatever, please do keep it that way. I'll be watching.

Sec3s, some of you are really bonded, and some are not. For THE few who are in THE thing of alienating THE few people, please try to not do that. You are upper sec, and you should know better than to engage in activities that harm the team. I don't care if THE few people are irritating or what, try to make peace and stuff. yeah?

My batch, :D, I'm sure we all remember what happened when we were in sec 1 and 2, and what had happened. Unfortunately, that thing might happen again, except it's not in our batch. I really hope we can help the juniors to get over this kind of misunderstandings and whatsnots.

Training was very very very fun today! Not really the training, but the breaks and pre-training and yeap (: Yixuan was going nuts with her retarded laughter and mr bean laugh (aka, hold belt and lean forward & backwards continuously while laughing). While kinda everyone else was going nuts laughing at Yixuan's retarded laughter and mr bean laugh and jokes. Thanks for being so hilarious, Yixuan! :D

So, feedback feedback. Y'all know the cheer T-E-A-M? Ok, since some don't like the phrase "who let the dogs out?", there had been a few other suggestions, like, "who let the balls out?" or "who let the bats out?" (which are kinda EWW.)

Therefore, I'm here to propose an alternative. I'm saying we go with this cheer for a few times, try it out, and WAIT for brilliant people with BRILLIANT ideas on how to modify my cheer. :D

Yes, so in the meantime, we'll practice our cheer. We need to practice our voices and team spirit for the upcoming cedar match. :D I'm sure we all know how SHRILL the cedar people can get. So, tmrw's match against GESS will be a good practice since they have SUCH GOOD TEAM SPIRIT!

anyway, today was the first match i've seen this year & the first one in rgtt and haha you guys did a FATASTIC JOB. everyone played awesome :D it was rather like, "cool" for some noob-o like me to see you guys smacking away like crazy and like when you deem appropriate AND FOR THE BALL TO GET ACROSS. usually when i smack during competitions it doesn't sighhh D: so i hope i don't play! don't want to like give RGS' tt score an ugly 1 there or something :O (& lingyue aaaah~, didn't even know she was going to play until a minute or so before her match was going to start.)

i'm sure we'll continue doing a very fantastic job, won't we? & let's cheer even louder for the coming competitions! if we were up there playing and if no one cheered we'll feel demoralised (well i will, i dont know about you guys. cheering does wonders. (:) i suppose, so yea. CHEER & CLAP & GO WHOOOOOO till you can't anymore. this is like the "very special period time of the year" where all our training pays off so let's make good use of it!

Hey Raffles Girls!

Today was game one of the season and well done, we breezed through that. I wanted to tell a joke just now but the opportune moment never really came. So I shall tell you my joke here. Hope it's funny :D

" Once upon a time in a forest, there lived a head. He had to limbs, no arms, no feet, no hands. He was just a head. He was a happy person, for his life was a fairly simple one, but he always felt a little envious whenever he saw a human pass by.

One day, he woke up to find out that he had grown arms! He was ecstatic! With his hands, he now could clap and muster a few steps.

The second day, he grew yet again. This time, he grew an abdomen. He even had a bellybutton! With his arms and his upper half, he could now move around though with some difficulty.

I was kinda disappointed about the turnout for adventure day. First of all, Chloe put in a lot of work planning it and just like anyone who puts in effort into anything at all, she wanted the team to have lots of fun and she did it for you all. Ever think about that?

Secondly, as Yihui mentioned, sometimes people don't make enough effort to be available. Something like spending time with the team would always hold last priority and that's upsetting don't you think?

So I hope to make a team new year's resolution: to put the team at least in the top 3 of your priorities list. Kapish?

Oh, and if you were wondering, only 5 people turned up out of 21. Go figure.

So now, i have a good-and-bad-combine-together news for everyone:
Mr Ng said this morning that it had been confirmed --- our training venue next year will NO longer be in our school hall, but outside somewhere near braddell view/heights, oppsite RJC. Not very sure when will it take effect from, but Mr Ng said probably early February.
Good -> Whole venue belongs to US (RGTT whoo!), so dont need the trouble to keep tables and balls and stuffs! YAYYE! hohoho.
Not-do-good -> Transport would NOT be provided by the school (somehow grr.) so we will need all of your opinions on whether you all want to...

1. Take public transport there, with SBS bus (probably no direct bus?)
2. Hire a coach/bus, with bus driver
3. Walk, Run and Fly, with legs (ok ignore)

So for option 1 and 2, we have to consider which is more economical and advantageous over the long run feel free to voice out any other options kayye! THANKS EVERYONE (sec1-sec4 2009)! will really appreciate all of y'all contributions!

Dates have been decided. Adventure Day will be on 27th Sat, and Picnic Day will be cancelled D: yeahh. SO SO SO. For those who didnt vote, you are still invited to come! PLEASE COME COME COME. Even though you only can make it for a few hours, still COME okayye! THE MORE THE MERRIER! ((:

Hey everybody!

Hurhur as you probably already figured out, I'm extremely bored and not all that excited to hit the books just yet. So, trying to find something I like and would rather do, i.e talking to yall and drawing :D

Yeah so hup to it! Also, I don't exactly know how frequent our posts are supposed to be but seeing as 4 days have already passed (since the last post), I think it's 'bout time we made another post.

I browsed through a million skins on blogskins.com before finding this one which reflects team spirit!
Let me do a commentary on the blogskin!
the girls wearing the same dress reflects UNITY!(as mentioned by elaine:D)
and the header "Who says we can't all be HAPPY?" reflects a tone of unision too.furthermore, the blogskin has a light tone(yellow, orange).oohhlalaaa, light colours reflect our free spirits, and how we support each other in times of difficulty.
I am so looking forward to the team outing!

Yes, Chloe, I must say that I was extremely proud with the whole team yesterday. No one, and I mean not a single person, was not training their butts off and seriously, yesterday was one of those days that made me glad to be in this team.

So thankyou, everyone. *bows humbly*

And yes, this blog is solely a team-bonding mechanism. Not a garbage bin thanks.

Sorraye for this late post haha. i still remember the previous blogskin which is a cupcake! haha LOL. ANYWAY, THREE CHEERS FOR OUR NEWLY-OPENED BLOG! B-) Thanks ying na for doing it up! (: Let's keep it lively (but not TOO ALIVE if you get what i mean xD) and no unnecessary spams kayyes!

RGTT cca shirt is AWESOME! ;D Those who have gotten it, get to drool at it! Those who haven't, you get to be kept in suspense *hurhur* B-) [I am gonna wear it on thursday manns!] Anyway, today i just realised that everyone was extra serious during training. *very impressed* ;D RIGHT NAT? *nods head* YEAHH! Those who tolerated my christmas humming trained hard. Those who ate my fruitplus and one fruitminus trained hard. Those (actually only ONE) who ate my khong guan biscuit trained hard too. ;D Lets keep this going till zonals and nationals yeahh!

If anyone feel like complaining on certain stuffs and abit personal to complain here, please feel free to tell the captains kayye! No hesitations yo! ;D yoalalalalalala whoo whee ohhmyzomies ok i shall stop talking donkeys.
